LABOR & EMPLOYMENT COUNSEL ATTORNEY Locations: Washington, DC | New York, NY Our client, an international AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking an experienced Counsel Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Labor & Employment Practice in DC or NY. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide strategic and high-level counsel on complex workplace issues while supporting a sophisticated litigation practice that serves leading employers across industries. Candidate ProfileJD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic recordActive Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing6+ years of substantive experience in labor and employment law and/or complex litigationStrong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment lawsExperience providing advice on workplace law issues, including wage and hour compliance, employee relations, risk mitigation, employment agreements, reductions in force, ADA and workplace accommodations, and employment-related policiesDemonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and analytical reasoningProven ability to manage multiple matters and deliver practical, business-oriented solutionsCommitment to collaboration, professionalism, and superior client service Key ResponsibilitiesProvide counsel to employers on all aspects of workplace law, including compliance, policies, and risk mitigation strategiesSupport and manage litigation matters involving employment disputes, wage and hour claims, discrimination, and wrongful terminationAdvise on employment-related issues arising in corporate transactions, including due diligence and integration planningDraft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and internal policiesRepresent clients before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panelsConduct legal research and analysis on emerging labor and employment law developmentsCollaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver integrated client service Why Join Us?Joining us means joining a world-class Labor and Employment Practice Group at a prestigious law firm who has earned consistent recognition from The American Lawyer, Chambers & Partners, Vault, and other significant publications.
