Job Description:Summary:Assists technical staff in preparing specimens and equipment for patient proper inventory of reagents and control materials. Performs clericalfunctions associated with accessioning result reporting referred testing and customerservice. Responsible for the handling processing and disposition of referral laboratoryResponsibilities: all duties of a Laboratory Technical Aide I. the supervisor with the training of laboratory personnel. specimens for dispatch to reference laboratory monitors send out pending test list and enters results into the LIS as applicable. Scans referral laboratory results in the LIS when applicable. Supervisor with retrieval/collation of data required for Performance Improvement reports. well with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service and appropriate follow-up. all compliance responsibilities related to the position. other duties as assigned.Other Information:Requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma and minimum of three years job-related experience. Customer service and organizational skills.Criteria Desired (Not Required): Associates Degree preferred.Working Conditions:Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterityOccupational: Some occupational riskPhysical Effort: Medium to Heavy effort.
