Role Description:

Midwest Express Clinic is looking for a qualified Laboratory Technician for their new in-house laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to grow their laboratory experience in molecular. The team is looking for a Laboratory Technician. The right candidates must have a patient first mindset and want to join an innovative organization that truly values their employees. This is a full-time onsite position based out of the Chicago, IL clinic.

Basic job duties: Processing patient samples, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage lab staff, monitor lab testing for accuracy, contribute to quality control and improvement efforts, maintain lab equipment, and oversee the ordering of lab supplies.

Required:

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field

Pipetting experience

Located within commutable distance to the lab, or able to relocate quickly

Preferred:

Experience working in a high complexity laboratory

Proficiency in molecular lab techniques

Knowledge of maintaining lab equipment and managing lab supplies

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

ASCP or equivalent certification preferred

Compensation details: 60000-80000 Yearly Salary
