This individual will be responsible for incoming customer sample flow sample login material inventory and preparing vessels for both internal and external customers. The chosen candidate must like a fast paced environment working on routine tasks and can handle various chemicals in a safe manner.The selected candidate will be part of the Chemical Lab at our Fremont CA lab in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area home of Silicon Valley.Responsibilities Follow established SOPsSample login tracking and returns using a LIMS systemSample transfers between different laboratoriesSample bottle tube vessel preparation and inventory managementSample bottle kit preparation for clientsSample preparation for elemental analysisRoutine analysis using various methodsEnter test results into LIMS in a timely and accurate mannerAcidic waste neutralizationSample waste consolidation and disposalResponsible for the documentation of quality control standards and analytical resultsResponsible for compliance with 5SMeets and exceeds all company safety procedures and standardsAre you a MATCH Required QualificationsHS Diploma with 1-2 years industrial laboratory experience OR Associate Degree in Chemistry or Similar Science with 0 years experienceWork safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory.Good organization skillsMust be able to work in a team environment with good communication skillsAbility to operate and maintain assigned laboratory equipmentAbility to work under time pressureMust have initiative and be self-motivatedAbility to change plans on short notice and work with a flexible scheduleMust be able to lift heavy loadsPreferred Qualifications1 years of industrial laboratory experienceCandidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
