Technicians perform chemical measurements and other tasks to meet the expectations of our clients by efficiently and profitably generating defensible data on time.As a key member of the Volatiles team this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:Perform chemical measurements and other tasks to meet the expectations of our clients by efficiently and profitably generating defensible data on time.Preparation of data summaries for inclusion in client reportsSample and standard preparationMaintain consumables and parts for instrumentsOverhead projects designed to improve efficiency of or accuracy of analysesCommunicating relevant updates to applicable people in a timely mannerPerforming other duties and responsibilities as prescribed by the CompanyCompliance with Enthalpys Quality Assurance Program and other policiesCompliance with Companys Health and Safety PlanYOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science or related field.Minimum 1 year of experienceMust be able to work in a stationary position for entire shift durationMust be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs independently and 50 lbs using assisted lifting equipmentPREFERRED SKILLSKnowledge of analytical methods analytical instruments general lab practices and lab safetyWell organized and have an attention to detailGood organization and communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environmentThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to his classification.
