Provides educational programs and participates in the development and implementation of a comprehensive breastfeeding program. Assists in establishing and maintaining the standard of care for breastfeeding families through participation in continuous quality improvement activities.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Education: BSN required MS preferred. Graduate from accredited school of nursing.Experience: Requires a minimum of three years of experience in Maternal Child Health Nursing. A minimum of 1 year teaching experience with adult learners preferred.License: Current NYS Registered Nurse license.Maintains lactation consultant (IBLCE) and a Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certificationsWithstrong hearts andopen minds were pushing past boundaries and challenging the expected all in the name of possibility.
