This position requires NO previous survey experience. As part of this team, you will receive on the job training and support. With the opportunity to work alongside supportive management, tackle challenging projects, and develop your career, there is no better time to join AMT.ResponsibilitiesPerform field survey activities to support the survey crew chiefField survey activities will include technical support: Operate survey instruments, levels, GPS, iPad, and data collector. Entry-level staff will be trained to operate survey instruments during the first year of employmentField survey activities will include manual labor support: open and investigate utility manholes, set survey points with sledgehammer, set survey points on construction sites, stock survey supplies in survey vehiclePerform daily field survey activities as directed by the survey crew chiefQualificationsHigh School DiplomaCertified Survey Technician, Associates Degree, Bachelors in Land Surveying or GIS preferred0-1 years of experienceEntry level positionBasic knowledge of field surveying procedures desired but not mandatoryInterpersonal skills to interface effectively with team membersPositive attitude and professional bearingDemonstrated ability to learn new tasks and develop personally and professionallyMust be service oriented and be excited to work in a team environmentValid Driver’s LicenseWhy Join AMT?At AMT, we understand that our most valuable asset is our staff.
