AECOM is seeking a Landscape Architect for immediate employment in our Southern California landscape architecture practice studio. This position is based in our Downtown Los Angeles office and will support projects throughout the West and Pacific regions. This is an opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary practice focused on high-performing landscapes that tackle climate change interconnectivity and mobility smart growth ecological systems and natural resources. Our studio designs a broad range of urban public realm projects including streetscapes parks ecological restoration and green infrastructure. We are looking for a passionate designer who is energized by a collaborative design process that engages colleagues clients and the communities we serve. Job Summary/ResponsibilitiesPlay an active role in the design process from concept design through construction phase servicesPreparing design graphics and technical drawingsMay coordinate design and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.May assist in the training assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets. Qualifications : Minimum Requirements6 years of professional Landscape Architecture experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationLandscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA) from an LAAB accredited institution Preferred QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills and excellent graphic verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and the ability to proactively solve challengesProficiency in AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite MS Office Suite hand drawingProficiency in 3D modeling (Rhino3D)Desire and ability to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.Experience with international projects and working across geographiesExperience working across multidisciplinary teamsAbility to effectively manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and self-edit workMay assist in the training assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.Licensed Landscape ArchitectLEED GA/AP SITES AP or ENV SP credentialsFamiliarity with Southwest native and climate-appropriate plant communitiesExperience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit Grasshopper3D ArcGIS)Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for public agencies institutions organizations and private entitiesAdditional Information : Additional Information:Relocation is not available for this position.Sponsorship is not available for this position.About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
