Were seeking motivated Landscape Architects and Landscape Designers who are excited to help shape this new model as part of a growing entrepreneurial team.We are specifically looking for designers with strong regional plant knowledge in the Northeast Midwest and Mid-Atlantic and a passion for helping customers make confident informed decisions about their outdoor spaces.The relationships you build the guidance you provide and the care you bring to each project are a defining part of the Bower & Branch experience.What Youll DoAs a Landscape Designer you will work directly with homeowners to create thoughtful site-appropriate designs that elevate their outdoor spaces and support long-term plant success.Landscape DesignDevelop clear and accurate basemapsLearn each customers goals preferences and site conditions through a series of thoughtful touchpoints including a 30-minute 1:1 live video consultationCreate landscape designs that balance beauty function and plant health grounded in regional knowledge and real-world conditionsMeet established deadlines and maintain momentum across multiple projectsCustomer ExperienceListen deeply and ask intentional questions to fully understand customer needsTreat every customer with kindness respect and patienceNavigate challenging situations with sound judgment professionalism and empathyPartner with design leadership when additional support or guidance is neededCollaboration & GrowthWork closely with design leads fellow designers and cross-functional team membersContribute ideas feedback and insights to help strengthen our design offerings and processesWhat Were Looking ForStrong plant knowledgeExperience in residential landscape designExcellent communication skills both written and verbalComfort working directly with customers in a remote environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at onceA collaborative curious mindset and an interest in building something newWhy Bower & BranchWe believe great landscapes start with great people designers who care deeply about plants places and the people who live among them. At Bower & Branch youll be part of a team that values craftsmanship education and long-term impact while offering the flexibility and autonomy of remote work.If youre excited to grow alongside a company thats planting for generations wed love to hear from you.Qualifications : Available 10 hours a week depending on season3 years of experience working directly with residential homeowners. Bachelors or Masters degree in landscape architecture.Proficiency in AutoCAD and InDesign.The ability to create a basemap remotely. The ability to work independently and make sound design and customer service decisions.A relentless focus on the customer experience as well as the design process.Tech-savvy and comfortable with navigating Google products video calls and project management software. Excited to make an impact drive results and create happiness in a high-growth environment.Additional Information : This is a 1099 contract position.
