Build your best future with the Johnson Controls team.As a 1st Shift Painter youll contribute to the production of high-quality HVAC equipment by applying industrial coatings and finishes with precision and care. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in industrial painting and a commitment to safety quality and continuous improvement.What You Will DoAs a 1st Shift Painter you will:Apply various types of industrial paints thinners and safety solvents to units and components using proper mixing and application techniques.Perform mixing procedures to specifications to pain units and/or their components with proper application techniques.Perform hydro testing.Perform housekeeping and other duties as required.Physical/Mental RequirementsLifting 50 lbs. (occasionally) standing (constantly) walking (frequently) bending (frequently) climbing (frequently) crawling (occasionally) reaching (frequently) grasping (frequently) sitting (occasionally) connecting (frequently) pulling (frequently) reading prints (frequently) and exercising judgment (frequently).Must understand and follow safety rules regulations policies and procedures.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Vision corrected to 20/20.Handling equipment (frequently).Environmental FactorsManufacturing environment Exposure to noise dirt dust cold/heat (indoor) and cold/heat (outdoor).
