Temp To Full-TimeJob Title: Laser OperatorLocation: White GAPosition Type: Temp to HirePay: $20.00/hourShift: 1st ShiftJob Description: Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking to hire Laser Operators for a manufacturing warehouse located in White!Qualifications for Laser Operators:After meeting all of PPS standard qualifications Candidate must meet below qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Knowledge of raw materials production processes quality control and costs for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.1 year experience in a similar position in metal manufacturing industry.Background in mechanical operations with metal parts.Experience with laser and machining programming software.Willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.Assignment Duties for Laser Operators:Analyzes job orders drawings blueprints specifications and design data in order to calculate dimensions tool selection machine speeds and feed rates.Compares computer printouts with original part specifications and blueprints to verify accuracy of instructions.Determines the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed machine work pieces into the desired shapes.Observe machines on trial runs or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly and produce items that meet specifications.Checks the quality of the products visually at different times and monitors the progress of the machining process.After attaching identification labels/markings to the products and checking the quantities transfers them to the correct drop zone.Performs daily maintenance tasks for the machine under supervision.Shift Details: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PMPay Rate: $20.00/hourBenefits:Full time.Weekly pay via Direct Deposit or ATM Card.Paid vacations and holidays.Health vision and dental insurance.Referral program.More benefits through the client after required hours have been met.Office Information:17B Felton PlaceCartersville GA 30120Phone: 770.575.5400For any additional questions or to schedule an interview call us today!If you are already registered Click Here to apply directly to this position.If you are not already registered no problem!!We look forward to assisting you in your job search!All qualified applicants will receive disability age veteran status or any other status protected by federal state or local law consideration for employment without regard to race color religion gender gender identity sexual orientation national origin and genetics.
