As a member of our team you will be expected to contribute your talents and energies to improve the environment and quality of the company as well as the companys return you will be given opportunities to grow and advance in your career.Primary Responsibilities Load articles into washers and dryers Understand and add specified amounts of detergent soap or other cleaning agents Operate the washer and dryer controls Clean the lint in the dryer filters twice a day Transfers all linens already in the washer to the dryer immediately upon completion of the first washing cycle put a new load in the washer and performs the basic duties upon completion of the first drying cycle Ensures that all storage & laundry rooms are locked before clocking out Removes laundry from chutes & carts; presorts linens to locate stained or torn items Maintain count of discarded items Fold & stack towels sheets and other linens Clean storeroom & laundry area Process damaged linen Make sure there are enough linens per floor and stocks each floor Other duties as assignedOur company provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race color religion age sex national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federal state or local laws.
