The energy and enthusiasm you display will create a fun place to work.Reporting to the Laundry Manager responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service to all internal and external guests/contractsLead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followedHandle Guest concerns and react quickly logging and notifying the proper areasActively participate in daily briefing daily warm up and department meetingsEnsure all colleagues are informed daily about priorities in the departmentEstablish and maintain constructive supportive and professional colleague relationshipsWorking knowledge of financial reporting structures (budgets labor productivity revenue expenses)Responsible for the recruitment training and ongoing performance management of all Laundry/Valet colleaguesSupervises and evaluates the work of laundry linen sewing room and valet employees; effectively recommends personnel actions related to selection disciplinary procedures performance leaves of absence grievances work schedules and assignments and administers personnel and related policies and proceduresAssist in balancing operational administrative and Colleague needsReport necessary maintenance items in a timely manner and maintain open communication with Engineering teamFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assignedQualifications : Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.Experience in a Housekeeping environment an assetService focused personality is essentialStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by exampleExcellent communication and organizational skills Bilingual (English & Spanish) and assetAdditional Information : Your team and working environment:A team of Heartists that are committed to working together supporting each other and providing the best guest experience Feel Valued Feel Sparked We Are OneOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract recruit and promote diverse talentWhy work for AccorWe are far more than a worldwide leader.
