We’re seeking a seasoned, in-person Director of Operations to partner with our Attorney CEO and Partners to drive operational excellence, empower our teams, and help scale the firm to new heights. The Director of Operations keeps the Firm’s needs at the forefront and works closely with the Owners and the fractional executive team on strategy, planning, leadership, culture, revenue generation and margins, policy, problem-solving, and decision-making. The Firm's Director of Operations manages the operations and business functions of the Firm. This position has broad discretion and authority to manage processes throughout the business and is a key position of trust within the Firm leadership.This is an in-office position, daily in our office in Northeast Atlanta, with core hours Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-5:30 pm.Compensation:$100,000+ dependent on experienceResponsibilities:Develop and execute the annual business plan and strategic calendarLead firm-wide project management initiatives and quarterly goal settingFacilitate monthly staff and attorney meetings; drive mission, vision, and values communicationLead the office as a whole; supervise leadership team in HR, Production, Marketing, Intake/Sales, Accounting, and Administrative functionsOversee the HR department's execution of policies, compensation plans, performance evaluations, and employee relationsSupervise recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training for attorneys and non-attorney staffEnsure every role has a clear job description, key performance indicators, and documented processesDesign, document, and continuously improve firm-wide policies, procedures, checklists, and templatesConduct audits and spot checks to ensure compliance and process efficiencyCollaborate with the Managing Attorney on workflow design, case-management benchmarks, and case value developmentMonitor matter-flow pipelines to optimize throughput, profitability, and client experienceSupervise accounting and finance functions and staff, including billing, collections, trust account management, and payrollImplement and track against annual budgets, forecast revenue, and analyze financial reports in collaboration with the CFO; liaise with fractional CFO, COO, and Firm Owners on annual budget creationApprove operational expenses and maintain financial controlsManage vendor relationships and emergency-preparedness plansOversee IT strategy and system upgrades to ensure optimal technology useGuide Marketing and Intake/Sales teams to execute ROI-driven campaigns and lead-conversion strategies in coordination with the fractional CMOTrack and review lead-generation metrics, conversion rates, and sales processQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Accounting (or equivalent experience)8+ years of senior operations or COO/Director-level experience in a professional services environment; law firm experience strongly preferredProven track record in budgeting, financial management, and human resources leadershipAbility to facilitate change management in a rapidly-evolving organizationExceptional project management skills; ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiativesHighly tech-savvy with experience implementing and optimizing practice management and productivity softwareStrong analytical mindset with expertise in metrics, key performance indicator development, and process improvementOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, solution-oriented approachBilingual (English/Spanish) at an advanced professional level preferredAbout CompanyWe are a nationally-renowned and growing immigration law firm with excellent training, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
