We provide cutting-edge tools and technologies for use in downhole drilling activities.Partner with the bestAs a Lead Application Engineer you will be responsible for:Identifying top opportunities for growing the business through product developmentWorking with repair facilities to improve quality of products and margin deliveryDevelopmenting of new products to improve drilling performance growing market share as well as driving a clear product strategy for the basinProviding/presenting technical support and application expertise to the sales and operations teamsWorking with customer to analyze and optimize drilling performance and provide clear solutions through technical presentationsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will have:Have a bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical or Petroleum preferred) or similar degreeHave 2 years in engineering role in the oil/gas industry 5 years preferredHave 1 year minimum experience in Drill Bits 3 years preferredHave experience in delivering technical presentations to customersWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone this role we can offer the following flexible working patterns:Monday-Friday 8am-5pm but will need to be flexible for client needsWorking with usOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
