Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Assembler to join our clients team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of electronics assembly professionals while actively participating in the assembly and quality assurance of custom electronic parts and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronics assembly and demonstrate leadership capabilities to enhance production efficiency and quality.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and first-line support to the Electronics Assembly team, ensuring alignment with production goals and company objectives.Oversee and participate in the assembly, inspection, rework, and modification of electronic components and systems.Develop work plans and schedules to optimize production throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Act as a liaison between the assembly team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process optimization and efficiency enhancements.Participate in training programs to enhance personal and team skills and knowledge.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with proven leadership capabilities in electronic circuit manufacturing.Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001 is preferred.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Self-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.Proficient in reading and interpreting work instructions and comfortable with repetitive tasks.Basic computer skills required.Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident in compliance with US ITAR requirements.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at workbenches or workstations.Capable of lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.Effective communication and interaction with team members.If you are a proactive leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence in electronics assembly, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
