Assembler Seal Team LeadCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Assembler Seal Team Lead (Assembler Level C) to join our in-tank seal team in North Charleston South Carolina on 2nd shift.The Team Lead will be responsible for but are not limited to performing tasks in the following areas: pre-shift planning crew meetings team status updates labor loss production control training process improvement and Lean/BPS. Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts mechanical assemblies subassemblies and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.Position Responsibilities: Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly toolsCrafts effective resource plansIdentifies and communicates risks to First Line LeaderUpdates and communicates BPS metricsIdentifies KPI improvement actionsAssigns daily workLeads team in daily safety check-inMonitors and reports daily progress to planWorks with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance riskDocuments and communicates shift turnoverEstablishes overtime requirements and staffingResponsible for monitor and control of 5SUtilizes Rapid Problem Solving (RPS) and coordinates with Line Side Control Center (LSCC) to address issuesCreates standardized work instructionsSupport teammates to improve their job performance including identifying trainingResponsible for BPS process improvementsLeads Kamishibai audits and Gemba walksThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
