Lead Azure DevOps Engineer at Tek Leaders Inc

Role: DevOps Engineer - Lead Location: Cincinnati OH (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months contract on w2 Role Description Design implement and oversee deployment pipelines for cloud-native applications primarily in Azure. Collaborate with development QA security and operations teams to ensure DevOps best practices. Automate infrastructure provisioning (Infrastructure as Code) configuration management and deployment processes. Maintain optimize and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines for performance scalability and reliability. Ensure code management branching strategies and code review policies are followed using Git repositories. Lead incident response and post-deployment validation ensuring rollback recovery and auditability. Mentor junior team members on deployment best practices and evolving cloud-native tools. Required Skills Cloud Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Services AKS Azure Functions Azure DevOps ARM/Bicep etc.). Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (microservices containers serverless). CI/CD and Automation: Proven experience designing/managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or similar. Scripting skills (PowerShell Bash Python or similar) for automating workflows. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Familiar with monitoring and logging solutions (Azure Monitor App Insights). Strong analytical skills for diagnosing deployment issues. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts lead cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
