This role will focus on building scalable secure and efficient Azure environments across both Azure Government and Commercial platforms. Leveraging your expertise in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates JSON PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform you will lead the development of cloud solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.The ideal candidate is a strategic thought leader and hands-on technical expert who can collaborate across departments - including Engineering Data Center Architecture and Security - ensuring robust and compliant cloud implementations. This role will also include mentoring team members provide technical guidance and recommend impactful solutions that help drive business success.Essential Functions:Architect deploy and manage end-to-end Azure environments ensuring high availability scalability and securityDevelop review and optimize Terraform code in HCL to automate infrastructure provisioning and managementLead discussions with internal stakeholders to gather requirements provide workload updates and align solutions with business goalsCoordinate with the Security team to conduct risk assessments remediate vulnerabilities and implement security best practicesTrack and manage tasks using tools like ServiceNow and Microsoft PlannerCreate and maintain detailed documentation including architecture diagrams process workflows and operational proceduresServe as a technical mentor to team members fostering knowledge sharing and promoting best practices across the organizationProvide timely support for Azure-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and a positive end-user experienceQualifications:Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $104000-$193000.00.
