This teamis responsible fordetection engineeringalert triageandincident responsewith anemphasis onautomation.This is ahands-onstrategicand technical leadership role. You will have the opportunity to influence security strategy design intelligence-driven processes and mentor others while driving your own career path in a dynamic environment.We are looking for an innovative andself-driven individualtoownresponsibility for theteamsthreatintelligencematurationandwill navigateour threatcapabilitiesthrough the next major chapters of CoStars global growth.This positioncan be located in eitherArlington VAorRichmond VAand is in office Monday-Thursday andwork from home on Friday.ResponsibilitiesDefineexecuteand leadthe CTI strategy aligning intelligence outputs with organizational risk priorities and security operations.Transform raw threat data into actionable intelligence for SOCDetection EngineeringIncident Response Vulnerability Management andnon-securitystakeholders.Design and implementascalable CTI platform integrations and automation workflows to enhance intelligence collection enrichment andprocessing.Conductdetailed researchonthreat actors campaigns malware and TTPs using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CKtoidentifyrisk and threats specific to the business.Partnerand collaboratewith cross-functional teams to embed intelligence intoall aspects of securityengineering risk assessments andbusinesstechnology/architecturedecisionmaking processes.Train and guide juniorcolleagueson intelligence production analysis techniques and operationalapplications.Deliver regular reports and communicationsfordisseminatingCTIto drive both security operations.BasicQualificationsBachelors Degreefrom an accredited not for profit in personuniversity or college.A track recordof commitment to prior employers10 years in cybersecurity with a minimum of 7 focused on CTIProven leadership and communication skills with the ability toinfluence stakeholders across the businessDeep understanding ofcybersecurity threats attackvectorsand trendsProficiencyin at least one scripting language or strong capabilities ina low-code automationsolutionsAbility to produce detailed technical documentationPreferredQualificationsandSkillsExperienceworkingin aculturally diverse team spanning multiple time zones within aglobal enterprisewith multiple verticalsExperiencebuilding and maturing CTI programs from the ground upwith a passion for mentoring and growingjunior staffSignificant experiencein incident response and detection engineeringi.e.direct experience applying CTI in operationsWhatsin it forYouWhen you join CoStar Groupyoullexperience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
