As a core technical contributor you are responsible for carrying out critical data architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.This team works on Data Governance & Controls related activities across programs within compliance technology. The work includes Data Onboarding Data Management Risk and Controls and Data Quality Controls all aimed at supporting mandatory firmwide objectives and policiesJob responsibilitiesEngages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose data architecture approaches to meet current and future needsDefines the data architecture target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategyParticipates in data architecture governance bodiesEvaluates recommendations and provides feedback for new technologiesExecutes creative data architecture solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by othersIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systemsFacilitates evaluation sessions with external vendors startups and internal teams to drive outcomes through probing of data architectural designs technical credentials and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeads data architecture communities of practice to drive awareness and use of modern data architecture technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respectRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experienceHands-on practical experience in developing conceptual logical and physical data modelProficiency in Designing and implementing scalable robust and secure data architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.Architect and optimize data pipelines and workflows using Databricks (including Delta Lake Spark and MLflow).Integrate Databricks with various data sources and cloud platforms like AWSDeep understand of Data sharing across Data Lakes using Data MeshDeep understanding of Compliance and Risk domainAdvanced proficiency in Databricks Apache Spark and Delta Lake.Proficiency in Python Scala or Java for data engineering tasks.Strong SQL and data modeling skills (relational dimensional NoSQL)Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsPreferred qualifications capabilities and skills8 years in data architecture and engineering of which at least 3 years as a data architectDatabricks Certified Data Engineer/ArchitectAWS Cloud certificationsData management or governance certifications (e.g. DAMA CDMP)In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsAbility to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend the best data architecture solutions for the future state architectureAbility to mentor junior team members and lead architecture reviews Key Skills Fund Management,Drafting,End User Support,Infrastructure,Airlines,Catia Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
