Lead Dental HygienistMedicine - 340(B) RW - AlexandriaLocation: Alexandria, LASummaryThe Lead Dental Hygienist consults with physicians, dentist, nurses, nutritionists, and social workers to ensure that dental services are provided to HIV+ individuals as part of total patient care. The Lead Dental Hygienist also assists in scheduling patient visits, gathering and analyzing data for grant project, as well as provides education on Oral Health to HIV patients and affiliated service providers in the community. Required Qualifications• Current Louisiana license to practice Dental Hygiene • Three (3) years’ professional experience performing dental hygienePreferred Qualifications• Proficiency with Dentrix & Dexis Software.• Proficiency with Panoramic and nomad x-ray units.• Proficiency with computers and digital dental equipment.• Local anesthesia certification / proficiency.
