Type: Contract to hireSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pmPay: $40.00 an hour Responsibilities of the Dental Hygienist: Ensures patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examinationConducts initial mouth screenings and check oral health historyIdentifies conditions like gingivitis or periodontitis. Cleans and helps protect clients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)Educates clients on proper tooth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)Gives instructions to clients after dental proceduresTake X-rays or dental impressionsAssists Dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseasesMaintains documentation and charts on each clientMonitors supply and coordinates re-ordering as neededQualifications of the Dental Hygienist: Graduate of a recognized dental hygiene schoolDental Hygienist licensure preferredStrong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelinesWhy work for Adecco?
