WHO YOULL WORK WITHAs a Lead Apparel Color Designer in Jordan Brand Streetwear Mens Apparel youll work closely with your design partners in product design color design and graphic design. You will also work cross functionally with your technical development partners product management and merchandising teams. Will accept any suitable combination of education experience and training.5 years experience designing and developing innovative apparel or color collections.Passion for DesignKnowledge of form color materials human factors trend related to elevating the consumer experienceAbility to translate consumer knowledge and insights into product solutions and narrativesFearless Calculated risk takerExperience in technical apparel designAbility to present new insights or seasonal concepts to small and large groupsProficient in creating and editing files using Adobe InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop skills.Adobe Creative suit is a plusMust be able to build accurate 2D technical drawings (tech packs)3D design program experience is a plusSolid knowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsKnowledge and experience with sustainable design and manufacturing are a plusExperienced with presentation programs: Keynote PowerPoint Acrobat etc.WHAT WILL YOU WORK ONIf this is you you will be helping to lead the streetwear Jordan Brand design team in creating unique collections across Mens and Womens product on a seasonal basis. This will include developing comprehensive color storytelling and original content creation across seasonal apparel assortments. The Lead Designer will work closely with Product Management teams to build engaging trend-driven narratives that meet the needs of target consumers and will partner regularly with Development teams to communicate design intent help with schematic creation and review and workshop prototypes.
