Were committed to making a positive impact on the world providing you with diverse learning and working opportunities and fostering a culture where everyones empowered to be their best.The purpose of this job is to set up and operate the lead extrusion machine to apply a lead sheath to core conductors.SHIFT DETAILSWorking shift: Mon-Fri 3pm-11pmTraining shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3pmESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Review documentation / work orders Set up work including but not limited to: Move reels in work area onto and off of the payout and take up machines Feed cable through machinery Change / adjust tooling Label product Monitor quality Maintain / clean machine Store / arrange supplies / materials Operate fork trucks and change cylinders Document processes Communicate with supervisors Clean work area Train employees Participate in team meetings Perform other duties as assignedEDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS Experience in the wire & cable industry a plus but not required.
