Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob description:Louisiana Pond Management is a small, fast-growing company currently entertaining resumes for a field biologist in pond management. This position requires many different levels of work in all kinds of weather. Candidate must be a motivated self-starter, with a willingness to learn & grow. Biological knowledge, people skills, mechanical work, communications/writing and continuing education are required. This is a full-time position for the season, with potential for a permanent position with health insurance & an employer-matched IRA. Tasks & Abilities·         Punctuality·         Ability to take direction & constructive criticism·         Load trucks & secure load·         Document treatments & management activities ·         Clean driving record·         Good organizational skills·         Basic computer skillsYou will be required to:·         Learn equipment information for sales & installation·         Monitor Google docs/sheets for tasks & scheduling·         Write and turn in job tickets to office staff in a timely and organized manner.·         Inventory assistance warehouseYou will be required to learn to: ·         Communicate effectively & professionally with customers (conversation control, educating, listening, presenting).·         Maintain trucks, trailers, batteries, boat motor, & equipment·         Pull/hook up trailer, back up a trailer·         Identify aquatic plants·         Study & apply herbicide label information·         Apply herbicides effectively & safely·         Become certified in pesticide application·         Assembly, installation & repair of aeration systems, including fountains & diffused aerationExtras·         A long work history·         General know-how with tools and mechanical skills·         Knowledge of boats, electrical, and vehicle maintenance
