Belmont Village Rancho Palos Verdes - ABOUT THE ROLETuesday to Saturday 9:00am to 5:30pmAs a Lead Housekeeper at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will perform multi-functional duties related to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices and common areas of the community. The Lead Housekeeper also coordinates and schedules daily work assignments for the housekeeping team. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIESAssign daily housekeeping tasks and ensure compliance with company cleaning and sanitation standardsConduct all training and oversee the housekeepers quality of workInvestigates and addresses resident satisfaction concerns related to housekeeping servicesMaintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management of low stockMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of resident apartments and bathrooms including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and spot-cleaning carpetsCollect, wash, fold and return resident laundry items to appropriate resident timelyEnsure proper trash removal and restocking of supplies throughout the communityCommunicates respectfully and professionally with residents and guestsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of administrative offices, hallways, and common spaces including dusting, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpetsMake hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interactionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeper in senior living or comparable settingAbility to lead others, organize and prioritize work independently and efficientlyMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishAbility to work assigned shifts which may include early morning, weekends and holidays Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityAll offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test. Please note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
