Lead HVAC Service Technician at Gould's A/C & Heating

The Role:
As a Lead Service Technician, you aren't just fixing units; you are the "face" of our technical expertise. You will handle complex diagnostics, mentor junior techs, and ensure every customer receives the "Gould Standard" of service.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems (including AC, heating, and indoor air quality components).
• Perform thorough preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance in the field.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system issues and repair vs. replacement options.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully-stocked service vehicle.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency services.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC service experience (Required).
• EPA 608 Certification (Universal preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, refrigeration cycles, and airflow.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills-must be approachable, respectful, and professional.
• Ability to work in Florida conditions (attics, crawl spaces, and high heat).
