Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryWe are seeking a experienced Toddler Daycare Lead Teacher to join our team in the capacity of caring for children while they are at our facility. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in an exciting and fun environment. We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with the idea of being on their feet, on the floor and outside throughout day and can provide active play for children at our daycare center.Available shifts7:00 to 3:309:00 to 545DutiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesGreet every parent or child in a cheerful, upbeat and joyous mannerPlan, organize, and implement "Learn through Play" Instructional Curriculum in a Christian learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.Create age-appropriate lesson plans and incorporate handwriting, crafts, games, hands on activities, field trips and daily homework to support curriculum.Maintain a small group by monitoring the children's safetyMust be able to lift, pull, push, or hold 20-30 poundsEstablish classrooms rules and behavior proceduresEnforce all student administration policies and state governing rulesReport physical or developmental problems that may require further attentionUpdate parent(s) via school app, email or telephone Serve meals and snacks in accordance with nutritional guidelines as well as recognizing and documenting allergies of each childMaintain the cleanliness and neatness of the center and all its parts (ie: bathrooms, classrooms, kitchen, etc.)*Only serious applicants please.RequirementsRequired Qualifications and ExperienceHigh school education requiredBackground check required2 year of professional childcare experienceCPR/First Aid certification requiredProven record of effective communication and ethical professional decision-makingNice To HavesPreferred Qualifications and ExperienceAssociates degree in Early Childhood Education or Social Science.Comfortable working with 2 and or 3-year-old toddlers.Possess the ability to open and or close facilities periodically.
