Laundry Room Attendant at Staffmark Group

Staffmark is seeking a part-time Laundry Room Attendant to join our team in Jonesboro, AR. If you're dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to stay active while supporting a critical department, this role is for you! Pay: $13.00/hr. Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, part-time (16 hrs./week, includes every other weekend) What You'll Do: Sort and wash soiled linens Fold and organize clean laundry Offload 200 lbs of wet laundry from washers and load into dryers Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the laundry department Inspect laundry for potential biohazards (bodily fluids, sharps) per on-site BBP protocol Collaborate with the team to ensure efficiency and safety What We're Looking For: Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively for 8-10 hours Comfortable stooping, bending, reaching, and staying active for long periods Dependable and safety-conscious Available to work every other weekend as scheduled Comfortable working around biohazards (training provided) High school diploma or equivalent Experience in laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare is a plus but not required Why You'll Love Working Here: Staffmark offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
