Lead Manufacturing EngineerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in El Segundo CA.The selected candidate will join the STE (Special Test Equipment) Architecture Engineering and Design team which is challenging the status quo and driving the Model Based Engineering culture and operations ideal candidate will bridge manufacturing and electrical systems teams to ensure producible testable and cost-effective electrical assemblies.BT&E El Segundo STEarchitecture and engineering teamis responsible for thedevelopment and delivery of test system solutions and Special Test Equipment (STE)engineering products to our satellitesystem test teams.Position Responsibilities Include:Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimizationConducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirementsCoordinates with supplier management and project managers to ensure that manufacturing requirements hardware standards design criteria and schedule performance to build plan are integrated and accurateDocument and communicate producibility best practicesProvides guidance to others through structured mentoringCoordinates parts procurement using various tools for management visibilityBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science4 years of experience in engineering design or manufacturing engineeringExperience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) toolsExperience in production systems and integration of the supply chainExperience working with procurement in the acquisition of partsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
