Job Title: Lead Manufacturing EngineerJode Code: 31851Job Location: Palm Bay Florida OR Greenville TexasSchedule: 9/80Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing-related activities including expanding Manufacturing Readiness Assessments DfX-Design for Manufacturing processes and INAR-Independent Non-Advocate Reviews. The candidate will identify and address EAC risks manufacturing producibility issues and customer on-time delivery challenges on new programs. Additionally they will develop strategies to increase producibility and throughput identify core vs non-core processes and develop a Technology Roadmap to optimize productivity by incorporating Industry 4.0 technologies.Essential Functions:Interface with design engineers to ensure hardware producibility and develop build strategiesPlan and request manpower equipment and process resourcesGenerate assembly documentation and direct support personnel in the day-to-day execution of manufacturing tasksAssist with manufacturing efforts with formal cost and schedule responsibilities and direct customer interfacesSupport process improvement initiatives of both technical and operational natureDesign and develop manufacturing and engineering tools strategies and systems to improve quality and throughput in the conformal coating areaPlan and support the build and modification of electronic systems including procurement support assembly method and work instructions generation tooling design support material and process development facilities and equipment planning and resolution of manufacturing quality and reliability issuesEstimate manufacturing costs determine time standards and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product linesSupport the root cause and corrective action (RCCA) processes25% Travel requiredQualifications:Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Engineering Mechanics Mechanical Engineering or related disciplinesBachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experienceMinimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing or integration environmentExceptional manufacturing skillsAbility to lead teams train and mentor personnelCandidate must have an analytical mindset and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
