JOB DESCRIPTION
Medical Assistant 4
The Medical Assistant 4 is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant 4 assumes ownership and leads advanced and specialized administrative/operational/customer support tasks that require independent initiative and judgment.

You will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration
Job Responsibilities
You will perform clinical responsibilities such as discussing symptoms and gathering information.
You will input information into the electronic medical records system.
You will take vital signs, give injections, and perform diagnostic tests.
You will collect specimens and draw blood.
You will sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms at an outpatient care site.
You will collaborate with Physicians and Nurses.
You will deliver direct patient care dependent on what active certification allows.
Your decisions are regarding the daily priorities for an administrative work group or external vendors. These decisions involve coordinating work activities and monitoring progress towards schedules/goals.
You will oversee the work of others.
You will be the primary administrative owner of a main process, program, product, or technology.
You will work within broad guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Certified or Registered
Phlebotomy Experience
Medication/vaccine administration experience
3+ years MA Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
CPR Certified
We consider this role patient facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB
Other Qualifications
1+ years MA experience in PCO center
Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
