Discover all the possibilities of a career at Northside today.ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Medical Technologist must be knowledgeable in the operation of every laboratory section perform the duties of a Medical Technologist III and assist the supervisor and take charge in the absence of the supervisor in monitoring shift operation in all sections of the laboratory.QualificationsBachelors degree in a chemical physical biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution and applicants must be eligible for an appropriate certification examination.Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW)ORAssociates Degree in laboratory science (Chemical or Biological Science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution and certification as a Medical Technologist.Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW)ORGraduate of a Military Program in Science (health science biology chemical physical medical technology) and certification as a Medical Technologist. Acceptable certifying agencies include: ASCP NCA AMT AAB HHS (HEW)Three (3) years experience in a clinical laboratory Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.Must submit to a Color-Acuity screening TestPREFERREDMust possess excellent written and oral communication skills.Work Hours:Mon - Fri: 10:30pm - 7:00amWeekend Requirements:NoOn-Call Requirements:No Key Skills Laboratory Experience,Immunoassays,Clinical Laboratory Experience,Hospital Experience,Laboratory Procedures,Phlebotomy,Conflict Management,Microbiology,Quality Control,Laboratory Techniques,Sales Support,Toxicology Experience Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
