Lead Mobile Engineer JLLWhat this job involves:The Lead Mobile Engineerassists the Operations Manager or Regional Operations Manager in directing the mobile engineering services operation and maintenance of all assigned buildings. You will provide direct support to field operations and lead maintenance teams across multiple facilities. This role assumes responsibility when the Operations Manager is not on site making you essential to supervising staff coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring seamless facility operations across JLLs building portfolio.What your day-to-day will look like: Supervise and direct maintenance staff during your shift while monitoring their performance on assigned responsibilities. Serve as the team expert in HVAC Electrical Plumbing and General Maintenance repairs and services providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support. Plan and schedule work in accordance with established priorities furnishing Engineers with basic data required for overall and long-range planning. Perform and direct maintenance departmental service requests ensuring efficient work completion with minimal disruption to building operations. Execute ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility mechanical electrical and other installed systems equipment and components. Maintain operate and repair all HVAC systems electrical distribution equipment plumbing systems building interior/exterior components and related grounds across assigned buildings. Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations while maintaining compliance with safety procedures and regulations.Required Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design refrigeration and HVAC. Minimum six years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineering (electrical plumbing mechanical) with strong background in packaged HVAC equipment repair and maintenance. Excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications including Excel and Word plus CMMS systems such as Corrigo. Universal CFC recovery certification and valid state drivers license. Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs climb up to 30 ft ladders and perform frequent climbing bending kneeling lifting and driving. Must pass background drug/alcohol and MVR screening process.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with building automation systems fire/life safety systems and various building-related equipment. Knowledge of State County or City Ordinances Codes and Laws related to facility management. Experience with monthly/quarterly operations reporting and technical evaluations of mechanical systems. Background in budget planning and facilities repair/improvement recommendations. Demonstrated ability to recognize safety hazards and propose elimination methods.Location: Mobile position covering Austin TX and surrounding area.Work Shift: Standard business hours with on-call availabilityThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
