With a team of over 1,500 nationwide associates, TMG is seeking an individual who can uniquely contribute to our 30+ years of success in the industry.Job SummaryThe Mail Center Associate Lead is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and digital mail, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate records. This role supports office services by processing mail, courier shipments, supplies, and print items in a timely and secure manner.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all materials received in the Mail Center (receive, review, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, and transport).Receive incoming files, print, and mail using the requested method.Recommend the most cost-effective mailing method when appropriate.Perform digital mail tasks: scan mail, save as PDF, email files to recipients, follow up for instructions, and monitor retention of original documents.Receive and deliver office supplies and copy paper.Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items using visual checks and x-ray equipment (if applicable).Answer calls and emails, providing professional and timely customer service.Sort items into appropriate categories according to established procedures.Prepare items for processing, shipment, or transportation.Enter activity data into logs, maintain records, and submit monthly reports.Follow all safety procedures at all times.Prepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer systems or carrier equipment (e.g., FedEx).Process outgoing U.S. Mail using Pitney Bowes equipment and replenish postage as needed.Troubleshoot copiers/printers and replace toner as required.Communicate effectively with the client and manager via email.Cross-train on other roles within the department and provide coverage during staff absences.Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED).2–5 years of mail services or office services experience preferred.1–3 years' experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).Excellent customer service skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Ability to multitask and perform various functional tasks.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to safely handle mail carts and flatbed carts.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
