Pay: $20.00 - $31.00 per hour

We are looking to find a strong leader, committed to our high touch, person-centric care approach. A person who is committed to Pharmacy, plans to stay a long time, and who exhibits leadership traits. -We are rapidly growing with two new branches of the businesses beginning soon so you will be integral in the growth and development of a totally new field we are adding to our services!


We need a leadership, Pharmacy Technician Lead manager who will help us grow and isn't afraid to take on organized, new projects! Thank you in advance. We are excited for the changes coming our way.


Job Overview:

If you are a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who truly cares about each and every prescription and patient, join our local, independent, community pharmacy. We treat our patients and customers as family...as we do our team. Essential focus on sustainable pharmacy practices is essential (must watch for reimbursement concerns/losses)...and provide solutions when losses are identified.


An ideal candidate takes accountability for getting patients their drugs and overcoming all barriers of access. n This candidate is self motivated, organized, and displays a sense of urgency and concern about patients. Documentation and communication are key.


You will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering superior, patient oriented care within a small, community oriented setting. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Duties:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, immunizations, and other critical care treatments.

Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration logs, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and regulations.

Ensure the safe preparation of sterile products.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication therapy management.

Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations and patient safety.

Dedication to laws, compliance, reporting, and cleanlieness standards.

Supports as a leader and assures we exceed all standards and keep up to date with all reporting and credentialing.


Skills:

Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, specialty medication packaging of complex regimens, and acute care environments.

Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to medication administration and patient care.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Critical thinking skills to assess situations and make informed decisions regarding medication management.
