Job DescriptionJob DetailsJob LocationNewington Shattuck Way - Newington, NHPosition TypeFull TimeJob Shift5x2-8a-430pDescriptionPosition Overview Work independently in the coordination and implementation of all field-testing activities associated with the deployment of undersea submarine cable systems. Interface with all R&D organizations to develop required test plans to support the commissioning of undersea submarine cables system. Support marine department with marine operations.Duties/ResponsibilitiesSupports a technical group responsible for a specific phase or process in the delivery of undersea fiber optic communication systems for multiple projects and/or suppliers. Responsible and accountable for project/expense budgets, compliance to schedules, meeting technical specifications, adherence to quality standards and maintaining EH&S requirements. The position also involves interactive work with various purchaser groups, engineering consultants, and organizations within the company.The candidiate must be abel to travel extensively for work.QualificationsSkills/AbilitiesBS or BA degree in engineering or applied science and/or three year's experience in a related or relevant field.Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple project priorities are essential.Experience in system engineering of communication systems is preferred.Project management and organizational skills are desired.
