Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryPeace Early Learning Center is a faith-based early childhood program located in Arvada, Colorado. We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and nurturing Lead Teacher to join our team and guide our three-year-old preschool class. Our program provides a warm, supportive environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.We follow the Jeffco Public Schools calendar closely, including similar holidays and breaks. Full-time or part-time position available (Monday–Friday) Hours: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 8:00 AM–3:00 PMDutiesPlan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate weekly lesson plans.Create and maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and promoting positive interactions.Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and team members.Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.Prepare for and conduct parent-teacher conferences twice per year.Observe, document, and assess student growth and development.Collaborate with other staff to support school-wide initiatives and special events.Integrate faith-based principles and values into the daily classroom experience.RequirementsMust meet State of Colorado Early Childhood Teacher (ECT/Lead Qualified) requirements.Previous preschool teaching experience.Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate curriculum.Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.A passion for working with young children in a faith-based setting.
