Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, developing and implementing a fun and engaging curriculum, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.Requirements:Pass a YMCA Background CheckMeet all lead teacher standards as dictated by Oregon's Department of Early Learning and Care and Preschool for All including one of the following: 1) Step 7 or higher in the Oregon Registry, 2) Associates Degree or higher in a child development related field, 3) State or nationally recognized credential related to preschool (please inquire for more information) - Please include this with your application if possibleCurrent enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment.Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.At least 18 years of age
