Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care given to patients at PMC requiring respiratory therapy services.Performs and documents basic assessment. Identifies deviations for the norm based on standards. Reassesses, identifies, and prioritizes problems in accordance with the assessment.Standards of care initiated and utilized in accordance with the RT Department standards. Available resources are identified and utilized to achieve standards of care. Standards of care are revised in accordance with RT Department standards.Evaluates and modifies care based on subjective and objective patient responses. Evaluates and modifies standards of care based on achieved patient outcomes. Documentation reflects department standards.Identifies needs and customizes education for patients and families.Patient care activities are coordinated, communicated, and delegated to team members appropriately. Patient report communicated in a concise, accurate and timely manner in accordance with RT Department standards.
