We will train you!Lead Mitigation Technician$42,000 - $50,000 per year depending on experienceThe Lead Mitigation Technician position is a career in the property damage restoration industry, primarily responsible for leading a crew of technicians who respond to emergency and property damaging situations. The Mitigation Leader has a drive to lead. Our team's professional approach ensures both the property and the customer are attended to, while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and property preservation. RESPONSIBILITES:Work safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or moldRecruit and coach technicians both in the field and in the warehouseSurvey damage within the propertyEvaluate and record damage to all items within the propertyManage cleaning process for both contents and structural damageDemolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools Clean up assigned job sites after demolitionPerform initial site visitsConduct moisture inspectionsSet restoration equipment within guidelinesComplete notes of assigned jobs in our primary operating system (RMS)Contact the customer of assigned jobs with ETATake photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the processResponsible for maintaining assigned vehicles and equipmentResponsible for unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipmentKeep equipment clean and organized in the shopResponsible for unloading trash in assigned areaResponsible for recording your time and coding it to the job assignedPass IICRC certifications as IICRC classes are offeredAssist in the development of new hires through on the job trainingAll other duties as assignedCompetency Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad)Customer Service SkillsCommunication skills via phone and face to faceComputer skillsAbility to learn and operate our primary operating systems: RMS, Xactimate, MICA and additional systems as requestedAbility to create documents and estimates Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face Ability to work independentlyAbility to lead a team of TechniciansAbility to complete work on multiple jobs within the same time frameAbility to participate in an on call scheduleAbility to work within hazardous environments safelyAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsAbility to operate a company vehicle safelyAbility to represent the company culture through our Truth, Values, Vision, Mission, and 10 Serving BasicsMaintain a level of confidentialityRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredCustomer Service experience1 plus year experience in a craft, trade, or manual labor position or equivalent schoolingPreferred Education and Experience:One or more years experience within the restoration industryPhysical Requirement:Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle.Constantly moves about job sitesConstantly positions self to move about job sites; stairs, walkways, roofs, crawl spacesOccasionally ascends and descends a ladder to complete jobsMust be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documentsMust be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to faceFrequently will lift up to 60lbsAbility to safely operate a company vehicle Make an impact now: Since 1966, Paul Davis has been serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
