Within the USO, our administrative operations are primarily housed in the Trinity Washington Building located in downtown Atlanta. Our Information Technology Services (ITS) division is located in Athens. The University System of Georgia Shared Services Center (SSC) is located in Sandersville. The Georgia Public Library System is located in Atlanta. The Georgia Archives is located in Morrow. The State of Georgia Records Center is located in Austell.Location This position requires onsite attendance at the Athens location five days a week.Information Technology Services (ITS) - 2500 Daniells Bridge Road Athens, GA 30606Job Summary The Lead Software Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient integrations between Workday (Financials, Procurement, HCM) and internal or third-party systems. This role bridges technical architecture with business needs, collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimize and extend Workday functionality while ensuring data accuracy, security, and system performance.Responsibilities Design & Development:Architect, develop, and implement integrations for Workday Financials, Procurement, and HCM using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).Create and maintain scalable, reusable integration frameworks and APIs.Collaboration & Solutioning:Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Proactively identify integration opportunities and recommend best-fit solutions.Governance & Documentation:Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems through sound integration strategies.Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, technical decisions, and architecture diagrams.Support & Optimization:Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure high system availability and minimal business disruption.Optimize the performance and scalability of Workday integrations, especially for large data volumes.
