Lead Software Engineer (.NET / AWS) at George Patton Assoc Inc

Fall River, MA (Hybrid - Tues/Thurs in-office)

We're looking for a hands-on technical leader to help evolve and scale our eCommerce platform. This role is ideal for a senior-level engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing architecture, and contributing directly to high-impact development work.

This is not a people management role-you'll lead through technical expertise, strong decision-making, and hands-on contribution.

• Contribute to and help guide architecture decisions across our web platform and integrations
• Lead complex development efforts through hands-on coding in a modern .NET environment
• Partner with business stakeholders to build scalable, user-friendly solutions
• Improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Review code and promote development best practices across the team
• Support and enhance a cloud-based environment leveraging AWS services
• Participate in full SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment

• Strong experience with C# / .NET and building scalable web applications
• Experience developing APIs and working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Solid understanding of database design and performance (SQL Server or MySQL)
• Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate cross-functionally
• Experience working in Agile environments with modern development practices

• Front-end experience with React or similar frameworks
• Experience with microservices or serverless architecture
• Familiarity with GraphQL or Salesforce integrations

Salary range: $120,000-$140,000, based on experience and qualifications.

This role follows a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration twice weekly (Tue & Thu) in Fall River, MA.
