Sourcing and Contracts Specialist

The Sourcing and Contracts Specialist serves as a strategic Supply Chain partner to Digital Technology (DT) stakeholders, leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing contract portfolios. This role is responsible for delivering commercial value, mitigating risk, and ensuring efficient execution of sourcing and contracting activities across the DT space.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy and operates within a domain-aligned structure (e.g., Project Services, Managed Services, Software, Cloud, Hardware, Telecom). The specialist will apply consistent sourcing, contracting, and supplier management practices across a diverse portfolio, with initial focus aligned to business priorities and flexibility to expand scope as needs evolve.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Manage approximately $75MM to $125MM in spend and contract portfolio responsibility
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to DT and business stakeholders, aligning sourcing strategies with business priorities
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including strategy development, RFx execution, bid evaluation, and supplier selection
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies based on market conditions and business objectives
  • Negotiate complex agreements to deliver optimal commercial and contractual outcomes
  • Structure contracts that support flexibility, scalability, and measurable value
  • Monitor supplier markets, pricing trends, and emerging delivery models
  • Manage supplier relationships and contract portfolios, including renewals, performance, and risk management
  • Apply market intelligence, benchmarking, and financial analysis to support sourcing decisions
  • Identify and implement commercial models (e.g., consumption-based, outcome-based, performance-linked)
  • Drive cost optimization, pricing transparency, and value realization

  • Experience applying governance, process discipline, and documentation standards
  • Data-driven decision making and continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience using sourcing, procurement, or contract lifecycle management tools

Basic requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 10 or more years of supply chain experience in sourcing and contracting
  • 5 or more years of leadership experience
  • 5 or more years of experience supporting Digital or IT organizations in a global, matrixed environment
  • 5 or more years of experience with complex services, software, or technology-enabled commercial models
  • Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on a yearly basis

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience with procurement or contract lifecycle management tools
  • Experience applying digital tools, analytics, or automation to sourcing or contract management processes
  • Experience working within structured procurement and contract approval processes in a large organization
