We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Lead Superintendent to join our thriving Construction team. The selected candidate will oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning to completion, with a keen eye for quality and safety. This role is crucial to the successful execution of our construction projects, and as such, requires a professional with a strong background in construction management, leadership, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Your responsibilities as a Permanent Lead Superintendent will include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle from initial planning to completion.
2. Creating and managing work schedules for all team members, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
3. Developing cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials, and managing budgets effectively.
4. Collaborating with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and deliver results that meet or exceed expectations.
5. Hiring and managing subcontractors, ensuring all work meets our high-quality standards.
6. Managing contracts and ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions.
7. Identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
8. Leading quality control efforts, ensuring all work is completed to our high standards.
9. Managing materials and supplies, ensuring availability and timely delivery to job sites.
10. Leading teams effectively, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
11. Overseeing new construction projects, ensuring all work is completed to our high standards.
To be considered for the Lead Superintendent position, you must meet the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a construction management or superintendent role.
2. Proven experience in creating and managing work schedules, cost estimates, and budgets.
3. A track record of successful collaboration with clients and project managers.
4. Experience in hiring and managing subcontractors.
5. Familiarity with contract management, risk management, and quality control.
6. Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
7. Experience in materials management and new construction.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to work.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
11. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
