Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Superintendent to join our fast-growing construction team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing work schedules, creating cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials, and collaborating with clients and project managers. This role also involves hiring and managing subcontractors, implementing risk management strategies, ensuring quality control, and handling budgeting and scheduling tasks. The Lead Superintendent is also expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills and ensure safety and materials management.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all phases of the construction project from initial planning to completion.
  • Manage work schedules and coordinate tasks for the construction team.
  • Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials, and manage the project budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Hire, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and ensure they comply with all project requirements.
  • Implement and oversee contract management, risk management, and quality control processes.
  • Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Oversee safety management protocols and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Lead and motivate the construction team to ensure productivity and morale.
  • Manage construction materials and ensure efficient use and proper storage.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience in work scheduling, cost estimation, and project management.
  • Experience in hiring and managing subcontractors.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, risk management, and quality control processes.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and project schedules.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety management protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
  • Experience in materials management and new construction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
