In this role, you'll care for and teach children ages six weeks to three years, while creating a safe, responsive, and developmentally rich environment. If you're passionate about early learning and want to make a lasting impact, this is your opportunity to lead with purpose.Responsibilities:Provide high-quality care and education for infants and toddlersImplement integrated service delivery aligned with Head Start Performance Standards, DOH Article 47 Guidelines, and CMCS policiesRecognize and support the individual needs of each child's culture, language, and abilitiesEstablish daily routines and smooth transitions that foster emotional securityCreate nurturing, responsive interactions and environmentsAccurately document developmental progress using Teaching Strategies GOLD (TSG) and ChildPlus on a weekly basisRequirements:Caring, upbeat personalityBachelor's Degree with a concentration in Early Childhood DevelopmentAssociate Degree in Early Childhood Education with eligibility for a study planPrevious experience in a Head Start Program or other Early Childhood setting preferredMinimum two years' experience meeting position competenciesAdditional Requirements:Daily access to reliable transportation to Bronx, NYFlexibility with assigned work location(s)Ability to pass and maintain acceptable record related to the mandated criminal background check processWork Locations:Aquinas: 685 E. 182nd Street, Bronx, NY 10457Msgr.
