Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription: Our preschool is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of young children. Requirements:- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and exploration- Establish positive relationships with children, families, and staff- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development and use the information to plan and adjust curriculum- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development- Communicate regularly with families about their child's progress and development- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and volunteers- Attend and participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as requiredRequirements:- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool setting- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirementsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
