Our 2-year-old classroom focuses on supporting independence, language development, motor skills, and social-emotional growth through play-based learning and hands-on exploration.We are looking for someone who loves working with toddlers and is excited to build positive relationships with children and families.Key ResponsibilitiesLead a developmentally appropriate classroom for 2-year-olds.Implement engaging, play-based lessons aligned with developmental milestones.Support social and emotional development, language learning, and early independence skills.Collaborate with assistant teachers and center leadership to maintain a positive, safe, and clean environment.Communicate daily with families about activities, routines, and progress.Ensure compliance with all New York childcare licensing standards.QualificationsMust meet one of the following:BA or AA in Early Childhood Education, orCDA (Child Development Associate), orActively working toward an ECE degree or CDAAdditional Requirements:6+ months of paid experience working with toddlers (1 year preferred).Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).Must meet all NYC/DOHMH childcare licensing guidelines.Apply today and help children learn, grow, and thrive at The Learning Experience Tuckahoe!
